Section 8 Housing (alias)

Section 8 housing was an asylum for poor inmates and lunatics. The original three buildings burned down in 1923.   Seven bed ridden  inmates and two employees perished in that fire.  The inmates were kept in deplorable conditions, mostly by ball in chain in their rooms, without showers or indoor plumbing.
