Prison H

Prison H was built in 1896 and closed in 1995.  During its years of operation, Prison H was known for violent riots and hundreds of incidents of rape amongst inmates.  During 1951 to 1974, prisoners participated in a variety of dermatological studies.  The inmates tested many Johnson & Johnson facial creams, moisturizers, perfumes, detergents, and anti-rash creams.  Since it closed, Prison H has been used as the set of many movies such as Law abiding Citizen and Up Close and Personal.
